FTC Refund Checks Are Going Out to Trend Deploy Customers

Money is on its way to 9,419 people

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is sending refunds to people who were deceived by the operator of Trend Deploy, Frank Romero.

In total, the FTC is mailing more than $672,000 to affected consumers. That comes to 9,419 checks going out in the mail.

If you bought from Trend Deploy, watch your mailbox. A check could be yours, and you do not have to do anything to earn it.

Cash your check within 90 days

If you get a check, cash it within 90 days. The deadline is printed right on the check itself, so check the date when it arrives.

This is a real, dated deadline set by the FTC, not a sales trick. After 90 days the check may no longer be good.

The money is already yours. Cashing it is completely free.

The FTC will never ask you to pay

This is important, because scammers often copy government refund news. The FTC says it never requires people to pay money or give account information to receive a payment.

The FTC will also never demand money, make threats, tell you to transfer money, or promise you a prize. If someone contacts you claiming you must pay a fee to get your refund, that is a scam.

OpenFinancial is not a government agency and cannot speed up your check. But we can point you to the free, official path so you know exactly what to trust.

Questions about your payment

If you have questions, you can contact the redress administrator, JND Legal Administration, at 833-609-9714.

You can also visit the FTC website to read frequently asked questions about the refund process.

There is no cost to ask questions or to receive your money.
